Jessica grew up in Brockton, MA and completed her undergraduate studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, MA. She graduated in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Jessica went on to University of Maryland where she graduated with her Master of Science from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program in May 2016. She also worked as an RN for 7 years until she began her career as a Nurse Practitioner in Boston, MA in August 2017. When Jessica is not working she enjoys spending time kizomba dancing, playing volleyball and enjoying the outdoors. She loves to learn new languages and has mastered 4 languages that she would like to utilize when traveling with her family. Someday she hopes to return to Cabo Verde Islands to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Jessica is looking forward to bringing her interest in both public health and family medicine to FPCA.
